The inaugural Squash Masters in Malta was hosted by the Marsa Sports Club in early November.
It was refreshing to see local leisure centres in Surrey and Sussex embracing and supporting World Squash Day.

On Saturday 12th October, Midhurst Squash Club and The Grange Community and Leisure Centre are participating in the global ‘World Squash Day’.
At the end of my previous article I suggested looking for and trying to hit the yellow dots on the squash ball when next on a court.
There is more to watching the ball than you realise.
While watching the ball in game-sports is a simple concept it’s a task that is carried out with varying degrees of efficacy.
It didn’t surprise me when an experienced player at Haslemere requested judging the ball as a theme to work on. It also reminded me of a blog I have been intending to write for some time.
The FA Community Shield is the curtain raiser to the start of the Premier League season and the sports media has already started filling up with a barrage of football content.
